How refugees from Ukraine live in Germany is the subject of a new collaborative cutting-edge research 
report, in which Herbert Brücker was involved along with many othersand – and which provides in-depth, 
representative results of the study "Refugees from Ukraine in Germany".

Das Land Berlin ist mit einer Beschwerde beim Bundesverfassungsgericht 
gescheitert – und kann Lehrerinnen nicht pauschal das Tragen eines Kopftuchs 
verbieten, wie es das Neutralitätsgesetz festschreibt, das nun angepasst 
werden muss. Zum Thema haben Zerrin Salikutluk u.a. 2022 im Format DeZIMinutes

The state of Berlin has failed in its appeal to the Federal Constitutional Court.
and cannot ban female teachers from wearing headscarves across the board, 
as stipulated in the Neutrality Act, which now must be amended. On this topic,

Bernd Kasparek hat letzte Woche im Seminar von Regina Römhild seine 
Forschungen zur europäischen Grenzschutzagentur Frontex vorgestellt 
(fast zeitgleich mit den aktuellen Verschärfungen der EU-Asylpolitik) und 
sich mit der Frage beschäftigt, was kritische Migrationsforschung gegenwärtig 
bedeuten könnte.


Bernd Kasparek presented his research on the European border management 
agency Frontex last week in Regina Römhild's seminar (almost at the same time 
as the current tightening of the EU's asylum policy) and talked about the question 
of what critical migration research could mean at present.
