A 2-day workshop, supported by a SEAS Grant awarded to Tim Müller (Humboldt-University Berlin), took place at 18th and 19th April in Berlin, Germany. The international event, which welcomed junior as well as senior scholars and practitioners, brought together 17 participants from Europe and the US. In three thematic sessions new findings on the application of brief social psychological interventions in (1) prejudice reduction, conflict resolution and political discourse, (2) education, inclusion, and school-related outcomes, and (3) interdisciplinary perspectives on cultural effects and influences were discussed.

The event successfully introduced SPSSI to all the participants, who took special notice of Kurt Lewin’s quote „There is nothing so practical as a good theory.“

Am 18. und 19. April fand in Berlin ein zweitägiger Workshop unter Leitung von Dr. Tim Müller statt, ermöglicht durch ein SEAS-Stipendium. An der internationalen Veranstaltung nahmen 17 Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen und Expert:innen aus Europa und den USA teil. In drei thematischen Sitzungen wurden neue Erkenntnisse über die Anwendung von sozialpsychologischen Kurzinterventionen in den Bereichen (1) Vorurteilsabbau, Konfliktlösung und politischer Diskurs, (2) Bildung, Inklusion und schulbezogene Ergebnisse sowie (3) interdisziplinäre Perspektiven auf kulturelle Effekte und Einflüsse diskutiert.
