Der Rat für Migration hat gestern eine Stellungnahme zur geplanten Reform des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Asylsystem (GEAS) herausgegeben – und auf Einladung der Bundespressekonferenz dort vorgestellt. / Yesterday, the Council for Migration issued a statement on the currently negotiated GEAS reform – and presented it there at the invitation of the Federal Press Conference.

Auf der Bundespressekonferenz stellten Prof. Vassilis Tsianos, Vorstandsvorsitzender des Rates für Migration, Dr. Bernd Kasparek, Leiter der Abteilung Integration, soziale Netzwerke und kulturelle Lebensstile des Berliner Instituts für empirische Integrations- und Migrationsforschung (BIM) und Mitgründer des "Network for Critical Migration and Border Regime Studies“ und Prof. Dr. Marei Pelzer, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences mit Schwerpunkt auf europäischem und deutschem Asyl- und Migrationsrecht, die Stellungnahme des Rats für Migration vor.

At the Federal Press Conference, Prof. Vassilis Tsianos, Chairman of the Board of the Council for Migration, Dr Bernd Kasparek, Head of the Department of Integration, Social Networks and Cultural Lifestyles of the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM) and co-founder of the "Network for Critical Migration and Border Regime Studies" and Prof. Dr Marei Pelzer, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences with a focus on European and German asylum and migration law, presented the statement of the Council for Migration.
