PROFILE
Marthe Völker is writing her master’s thesis in the program "Ethnography: Theory - Practice - Critique" on the negotiation of racism in post-socialist Berlin.
Her research focus is on the analysis of the contradictory (re)production of capitalist modernity (including concepts, expectations, and narratives), particularly regarding the emergence of nationalist, racist, and anti-Semitic ideologies and the engagement with post-socialist biographies.
From 2024 to 2025, she worked in the research project "The Social Life of XG." She is a student assistant to Manuela Bojadzijev.
