Leoni J. Keskinkılıç has been a research associate at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Migration and Integration Research (BIM) Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since 2020. She is currently working on the BMBF-funded research project "From Demolition to Immigration II" (StadtumMig II), subproject "Local Social Boundary Processes and Barriers to Resource Access".


She is doing her PhD on migration in East Germany at the Institute of European Ethnology at Humboldt University. Her research interests are home(un)making, homing and migration; (translocal) spatial production; social/political inequality and participation; neighborhood; qualitative social research & ethnography.
