Sana Shah is a BIM-Research Coordinator for the DeZIM research network (Deutsches Zentrum für Integrations- und Migrationsforschung). She is also a Research Associate in the department "Integration Research and Social Policy". Prior to working at Humboldt-University she was employed at the SOAS South Asia Institute where she served as Executive Officer taking on managerial and administrative tasks to promote South Asia research and activities at SOAS, University of London. Next to her professional experience in academia she has also gained experiences within the public sector working for the United Nations as well as the Austrian Foreign Ministry.
Sana Shah is graduate of Political Science and International Development from the University of Vienna. Her research interests lie in migration, (Muslim) diaspora studies as well as in South Asia research.
