Nassim is an architect and urban designer based in Berlin. From 2000 to 2009 Nassim studied architecture at Art University of Isfahan (Bachelor degree) and Art University of Tehran (Master degree) in Iran. During the course of her study, she got involved in several architecture and urban design projects in different cities (e.g. Isfahan and Ahvaz) for almost seven years. Furthermore, she was lecturer at Azad University of Ahvaz for three years. In 2010 , Nassim moved to Germany to get to know architecture and urban discourses in western cultures. From 2010 to 2012 she broaden her knowledge on social subjects in respect to architecture and urban planning and earned a master's degree in architecture from Dessau Institute of Architecture. She is currently PhD candidate at the department of Social Sciences, Humboldt University of Berlin. She is researching the subject of mental health and migration in the city of Berlin under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Naika Foroutan and Prof. Dr. Med. Dr. Phil. Andreas Heinz at the Berliner Institut für empirische Integrations- und Migrationsforschung (BIM).
