Working as a freelance researcher on several urban projects focusing on social space, gender and migration with municipality of Tehran.

Second master thesis, rediscovering family space: family/politics relations in modern Middle East at Humboldt University.

2014-Present

Firoozeh Farvardin is now a PhD candidate in the institute of social studies at Humboldt University of Berlin. She is currently writing her thesis on transforming the state and gender relations: the family as a field for exercising and resisting power in modern Iran.
