Call for Abstracts and Participation: Palestine Summer School - Counter Knowledges

Workshops, discussions and panels for students and young researchers engaging with Palestine. Our program features prominent Palestine scholars and covers a wide range of themes: from settler colonialism and imperialism in the homeland to diaspora communities across the globe, to solidarity movements and state repression and different research paradigms to methods and methodologies in Palestine Studies. Call for Abstracts and Participation


  

Join us for two days of collaboration and exchange in Berlin at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM) at HU Berlin, where Palestine scholars will facilitate workshops and discussions. The summer school is open to students from all fields who have worked on, or are planning, a research project on Palestine, whether a seminar paper, BA/MA thesis or dissertation. Participants will present their research, receive feedback from peers and researchers and discuss possibilities for publishing their work after the summer school.

Program


The summer school combines workshops, panel discussions and participant presentations. Participants will present their research, receive feedback from peers and invited researchers and discuss questions of theory, method and possibilities for future publication.

On both days, the program will start at 9:30 and end at 7:00PM. Lunch and Snacks are provided.
