Project description
The HU Welcome Tandems project brings together people with a history of flight who want to find their way into the university system after arriving in Berlin with Berlin students from the same disciplines.
The program is accompanied by regular social and cultural events as well as academic seminars aimed at all participants. In this way, an exchange of knowledge and experience at eye level is made possible with the aim of establishing supportive and friendly contacts and facilitating sustainable integration into everyday university life.
The HU Welcome Tandems are a student initiative and based at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM).
The project is funded by the DAAD as part of the program "Welcome - Students get involved with refugees".
