Motives and Interactive Impact of Fully-Veiled Women in Germany

The project will look at why women decide to wear the niqab and their interactive impact. Moreover it will investigate how niqab-wearing women feel about a possible ban of the niqab. By interviewing women who wear the niqab as well as experts from science, civil society and religious communities, implications of a possible niqab ban and political courses of action will be examined and presented.
